Dear Charleston Families,
I would like to inform you that Merced County will be working on Charleston Rd. beginning April 16 through May 8. The project will include repaving and widening the road, starting west of our school at Center Rd. and continuing east, past our school, to Jersey Rd.
I have met with a representative from Merced County to review our school’s ingress and egress procedures, and he assured me that they will do everything possible to accommodate our traffic and keep the flow as smooth as they can during this time. Please be aware that there may be some delays when coming to or leaving school due to the construction. We will continue to stay in communication with the county to help ensure that our morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures remain as efficient as possible.
The safety of our students is always our top priority. With your cooperation and patience, we can work together to ensure that all students arrive at school and return home safely each day.

Me he reunido con un representante del Condado de Merced para revisar nuestros procedimientos de entrada y salida de la escuela; él me aseguró que harán todo lo posible para adaptarse a nuestro tráfico y mantener la fluidez de la circulación lo mejor que puedan durante este periodo. Por favor, tengan en cuenta que podría haber algunas demoras al llegar a la escuela o al salir de ella debido a las obras de construcción. Continuaremos en comunicación con el condado para ayudar a garantizar que nuestros procedimientos de llegada matutina y de recogida vespertina sigan siendo lo más eficientes posible.
