About

Volta Elementary houses the Independent Studies program for all LBUSD students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.  This free program provides an alternative to the regular education program and allows students to stay and work at home on a device (iPad or Chromebook).  Students meet with their teacher once a week for one hour. We also provide opportunities for students in the Independent Studies Program to participate in on-campus events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities like band!
