Rising Scholars supports justice-impacted students as they transition to college and work toward their educational and career goals. The program provides support, guidance, opportunities, and a welcoming community to help students succeed.
Who May Be Eligible?
You may qualify if you:
Were detained or incarcerated in a juvenile or adult facility. Were detained as a youth or are currently or formerly on probation.Are currently enrolled in a Merced College course.
What We Provide
Help applying to Merced College and completing financial aid requirements
Workshops and activities
Snacks and campus tours
A dedicated space on campus
