Los Banos Junior High FFA Students Named National Agriscience Fair Finalists

LOS BANOS, CA — Thirteen students from Los Banos Junior High School FFA have qualified as National Agriscience Fair Award Finalists. These outstanding middle school students will represent the Los Banos community on the national stage at the upcoming National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this October.

The National FFA Agriscience Fair recognizes students who study agricultural scientific principles and emerging technologies. Reaching finalist status places these students among the top young agricultural researchers in the nation.

2026 National Agriscience Fair Finalists:

· Animal Systems (Division 2): Tavarius Gandy & Elena Ceja

· Environmental Services / Natural Resource Systems (Division 1): Dyana Martin

· Environmental Services / Natural Resource Systems (Division 2): Lily Casas & Adrian Pagaza

· Food Products & Processing Systems (Division 1): Weston Pepper

· Food Products & Processing Systems (Division 2): Alyssa Castillo & Kimberly Gonzalez

· Plant Systems (Division 2): Harper Holland & Ashley Romo

· Social Science (Division 1): Athzyry Tovar-Mendoza

· Social Science (Division 2): Nevaeh Pena & Camila Gutierrez Nieves

This level of success reflects the hard work of the students and the unwavering commitment of their advisors. LBJH FFA Advisor Adam Jacobo and Stevie Willis have dedicated countless hours guiding, mentoring, and preparing these students to excel at the highest level.
